Made In America Festival Reporting Upping Security for Tekashi Performance



Tekashi 6ix9ine is set to perform at this year’s ‘Made In America’ Festival in Philadelphia. Because of that, the festival is reportedly increasing the amount of security that will be present during the rapper’s performance.

According to a representative from the Mayor’s Office of Philadelphia, event producers for Made In America are going out of their way to make sure the event is as safe as possible for all attendees and artist. The organizers are “pouring a significantly heavier detail specifically to cover Tekashi’s performance” according to TMZ.

It was noted that extra security was not requested by the rapper or his team. The increase in security may be the smart move, as shots rang out at a video shoot that Tekashi was at with 50 Cent.
